Sometimes creating imagery for the scape of the internal family system of parts can be helpful. Clients who feel compelled by imagery may choose to draw, paint, create collages, build sculptures, and even bring photos from real life to represent a moment each part links to. It's inspiring to me to see the ways each individual learns to attune and care for their own parts.

When internal parts convey a longing, it's often through an immediacy in the body - a sensation or impulse for movement - a punching feeling of strength and release? A desire to curl into a ball in silence, away from the world? A flash of the memory-feeling on a swing, laughing and free?

Together we mine for the deeper sense this message is conveying -
finding some way to embody "the dance" of the part's inspiration and longing, here and now, in-session, conveying back to the part, "I hear you and trust that you have something wise to offer".
~
We create homework for you to physically embody the insights from session, maybe signing up for a dance class or taking the part/s on a hike, maybe filling the tub to imagine swimming in the ocean, or learning sensory work exercises to experience it imaginatavely when necessary.

Each week we build on these discoveries and offerings, as you continually build internal trust between Self and parts.
Embodied experiences in fully lived, environmental sensory scapes stimulates neuralplasticity, regulates the nervous system, and builds a unique sensory-language for your parts to begin
"Re-Membering" - their Infinite Belonging with Self.
In this video you'll see my teacher and founder of IFSCA Derek Scott leading an IFS session.
Note the space, compassion, and lack of a need for "content" details of the individual's life circumstances. Instead, the therapist / coach holds Self Energy (Compassion) with gentle guidance to the Client's Self, as the Client's Parts learn over time, to rebond and trust in Self at the helm.

Hello, and thank you for visiting!
I am not currently accepting new clients at this time.
I wish you much breath and ease,
